The WA Government is delivering Perth Park, Perth’s premier entertainment and sporting precinct, bringing Optus Stadium, Belmont Park Racecourse, Crown Perth and the State Tennis Centre together with exciting new facilities.

The precinct will be activated by a year-round calendar of community and major events, ranging from large-scale festivals to intimate local functions and will feature

  • An exciting new landscaped parkland
  • A multi-use building with sporting, event and function facilities
  • An outdoor amphitheatre
  • Multi-use track for cycling and annual motorsport event; and
  • A new year-round hospitality venue.

Site establishment works have now started. During the construction period from February 2026, the park will be temporarily closed to the public.


What to expect

Path users, people walking and riding from the south should use Camfield Drive or Victoria Park Drive between Optus Stadium and Crown Perth.

  • Expect slightly longer walking times
  • Following wayfinding signage
  • Use public transport – plan your journey at transperth.wa.gov.au
