All food and beverage outlets at Optus Stadium now accept payment by card only.

Credit and debit cards will continue to be accepted. This change has been implemented to deliver faster service for patrons (less fumbling for change) and is more convenient for patrons who don’t, or don’t want to, carry cash.

Patrons attending Optus Stadium with cash only will be able to exchange it for a complimentary ‘Cash Card’ via Cash Exchange points located around the Stadium. Optus Stadium event day staff are familiar with the locations of all Cash Exchange points around the stadium.

Your Cash Card may be used at all Optus Stadium operated food and beverage outlets. Your Cash Card cannot be used for external or mobile food vendors who operate onsite at Optus Stadium. These vendors may accept cash, credit and debit cards payments, but they will not accept payment using the Optus Stadium Cash Card.

You can exchange your cash for a Cash Card at Cash Exchange Points located around Optus Stadium.

The point of sale operator will charge the Cash Card for the nominated value you wish to be loaded on the card.

A minimum of $10.00 and a maximum of $1,000.00 can be loaded on each Cash Card. The maximum amount that can be stored on a Cash Card at any time is $1,000.00.

Cash Cards can only be purchased and reloaded (topped up) using cash at Cash Exchange points. Any un-used credit on your Cash Card can be used at future events or redeemed for cash only from a Cash Exchange Point at any event.

Select goods in your participating food and beverage outlet and take them to the point of sale operator with your Cash Card. The Cash Card will then be scanned at the Point of Sale.

The transaction will be completed when the balance has reduced on your Cash Card. No change will be given. The remaining balance on the card can only be used in whole or part against future purchases. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the remaining value on your Cash Card, you must pay the excess using another card payment method or return to the outlet after you have reloaded (topped up) your Cash Card.

You agree that we can reduce the Remaining Card Value by the value of all purchases of goods and services that are authorised by you.

Transactions are authorised by you by:

  • scanning your Cash Card, or allowing an operator or other person to do so, at an electronic point of sale terminal at a participating outlet; or
  • giving a participating outlet details of the Cash Card and authorising the transaction in some other way approved by that outlet. When you authorise a transaction:
    • you are confirming that the transaction correctly represents the purchase price of the goods or services obtained; and
    • you are agreeing to pay the amount of that transaction by the reduction of the Remaining Card Value.

Your Cash Card can only be redeemed for cash for the remaining value on the Cash Card at the Cash Exchange Points at Optus Stadium.

Treat your Cash Card like cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded.

Transaction history can be provided at any Cash Exchange Points and Balance Checks can be performed at Cash Exchange Points or any food and beverage outlet accepting the Cash Cards. Refer to your most recent transaction receipt for the remaining value on your Card.

Account Cards

The Account Card may be used at all Optus Stadium operated food and beverage outlets.

The Account Card cannot be used for external or mobile food vendors who operate onsite at Optus Stadium. These vendors may accept cash, credit and debit cards payments, but they will not accept payment using the Account Card.

The Account Card cannot be used for any other type of purchases (including at merchandise outlets), or for purchases over the internet, by phone or email.

Any balance remaining on the Account Card at the expiry date will be refunded to you, using the same method of original purchase (ie. via the credit card used, or via bank transfer).

Select goods in your participating food and beverage outlet and take them to the point of sale operator with your Account Card. The Account Card will then be scanned at the Point of Sale.

The transaction will be completed when the balance has reduced on your Account Card. No change will be given. The remaining value on the card can be used in whole or part against future purchases. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the remaining value on your Account Card, you must pay the excess using another card payment method.

You agree we can reduce the remaining value on the card by the value of all purchases of goods that are authorised by you. Transactions are authorised by you by:

  • scanning your Account Card, or allowing an operator or other person to do so, at an electronic point of sale terminal at a participating outlet; or
  • giving a participating outlet details of the Account Card and authorising the transaction in some other way approved by that outlet.

When you authorise a transaction:

  • you are confirming that the transaction correctly represents the purchase price of the goods or services obtained; and
  • you are agreeing to pay the amount of that transaction by the reduction of the remaining value on the card.

Lost, damaged or stolen cards will be cancelled and replaced free of charge.

Please contact your account representative at Optus Stadium if the Account Card has been lost, stolen or damaged.

We will host tours again and we are working on an amazing new tours program that will be available to fans and visitors as soon as the time is right. We thank you for your patience.
