Planning on attending one of the two Christmas Festivals at Optus Stadium? Here’s your ultimate guide to what’s happening at the FREE family friendly events. From Christmas flicks on the big screen to stadium lights tours, it’s time to get into the festive spirit!

Getting There
Public Transport
The best way to get to Optus Stadium is by public transport. Trains will be operating to and from Perth Stadium Station. Use the Transperth Journey Planner here to plan your journey. No suburban buses will be in operation for this event.
Parking
Limited parking will be available for $10. CARD ONLY, Optus Stadium is a cash free venue.
Beat the Heat
Stay Hydrated
Fill up your water bottle at one of the many drink fountains in Stadium Park. Drinking water can also be purchased from food stalls and The Jingle Bar.
Be Sun Smart
Slip, slop, slap! Wear your hat and apply sunscreen regularly. Find shade on the Southern Oval. Sunscreen will be available at the First Aid tent, The Jingle Bar and Reception.
Eat + Drink
You won’t leave feeling hungry! Tickle your taste buds and explore the huge selection of delicious food trucks, with an abundance of international cuisines and local delights on offer across both weekends.
The Jingle Bar will be serving ice-cold beverages - find a seat in the alfresco area and enjoy a drink while you soak in the balmy atmosphere and enjoy tunes from the live DJ.
Don’t forget to stay hydrated! Drinking water can be purchased from food stalls and The Jingle Bar. You can also pack a water bottle and fill up at one of the many drink fountains in the park.
Play
There will be heaps of activities and entertainment for the little (and big) kids to enjoy.
- FREE kids’ rides and garden games, giant jenga and Pokémon game.
- Christmas crafting activities under the big tent on the Southern Oval
- Santa will be making a special appearance. Be sure to grab an “elfie”!

Dogs are welcome but please ensure they are kept on a leash while in attendance.

Stadium Park will become a magical marketplace full of local gift stalls, perfect for those last last-minute Christmas gifts or to treat yourself to something special. You’ll be supporting local businesses, so bring a bag and shop ‘til you drop!
Christmas Movies by Schweppes
It’s not Christmas without a festive flick or two. Head to the BHP Amphitheatre and catch your favourite Christmas movies on the outdoor screen, thanks to our event partner Schweppes. Pack a picnic rug, catch the sunset over the Swan River and enjoy the free screenings:
